During the two weeks of stay in the Vatican of the recently pardoned Belarusian priests, there was no official information about them. However, the faithful have learned that Fr. Henrych Okolotovich and Father Andrzej Juchniewicz continue to stay in Rome, writes Katolik.life.

It has been confirmed that both priests are now undergoing medical examinations.

Ksondz Okolotowicz celebrated holy Mass for the first time in two years and Father Andrzej for the first time in nearly a year and a half. In detention they did not have such an opportunity.

The priests do not participate in public events and had no official meetings. According to the information of the faithful, they have to spend some time "in silence." Archbishop of Minsk and Mogilev Jusef Stanevsky, who accompanied them, returned to Minsk last week.

In the meantime, Pope Leo XIV has finished his apostolic journey and is already in Rome - so there is again a possibility that he may meet with the Belarusian priests.
