Russian Security Council deputy chairman threatens NATO with annihilation.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitri Medvedev said that NATO is an enemy of Moscow. He wrote this in English on social network X.

Medvedev emphasized that the North Atlantic Alliance joyfully announced the elimination of the Russia-NATO Council. He emphasized that he shares their delight.

"NATO is our enemy. What kind of 'council' are we talking about? There is only one way to deal with enemies. As [Maxim] Gorky said: 'If the enemy does not surrender, they destroy him,'" he noted.

North Atlantic Alliance Secretary General Mark Rutte earlier informed NATO foreign ministers that the Russia-NATO Council will be abolished. It is known that the Russia-NATO Founding Act no longer exists.
