Vilnius Airport Closed Again Due To Weather Probes From Belarus

  • 3.12.2025, 22:17

Lukashenko's regime continues its hybrid attacks.

The Lithuanian Vilnius airport was closed on the evening of December 3 due to the detection of smuggled meteoprobes.

This was reported by LRT.

The Lithuanian National Crisis Directorate said the airspace over the airport was closed from 19:36 to 22:30 due to "a hybrid attack by Belarus against Lithuania, civil aviation and society, as well as the detection of navigation signals characteristic of balloons."

Passengers were asked to follow the information provided by the airport and air carriers.

The airport in Vilnius has been closed at least 10 times from the end of October this year until today. On the night of December 1, the airport in the Lithuanian capital did not work for 11 hours due to 60 weather probes, 40 of which were in critical locations.
