The contribution of each country to the defense of Ukraine will be determined.

French President Emmanuel Macron has announced progress on the issue of providing security guarantees to Ukraine and said that it is planned to determine the contribution of each country in the "coalition of the resolute" as early as early January.

The French leader wrote this on social network X.

Macron said that on the evening of December 28, he held online talks with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and US President Donald Trump with the participation of a number of European leaders. This was followed, according to the publication, by a separate conversation between Macron and Zelensky.

The French president emphasized that progress had been made in discussing security guarantees and that in early January, the countries of the "coalition of the resolute" will meet in Paris to finalize the specific contribution of each state.

"We are making progress on the issue of security guarantees, which will be key to the formation of a just and sustainable world. In early January, we will gather the countries of the 'coalition of the resolute' in Paris to finalize the agreement on the specific commitments of each of them," Macron said.
