AFU General Staff Reveals Details Of Strike On Syzran Refinery In Russia

A number of other important sites for Russians have been hit.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces hit the Syzransky oil refinery and a number of other facilities of the Russian occupants on the night of December 28.

The General Staff of the AFU reports.

"Within the framework of reducing the military and economic potential of the Russian aggressor on the night of December 28, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit the Syzransky oil refinery in the Samara region of the Russian Federation," the report says.

The strike drones hit the territory of the plant with a subsequent fire. The extent of the damage is specified.

The General Staff noted that the annual volume of processing of this enterprise is from 7 to 8.9 million tons of oil. In addition, the Syzransky refinery is part of the Russian energy rear and is involved in supplying the aggressor's armed forces.

In addition, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully struck:

a storage and maintenance site for uncrewed boats near Chernomorskoye (temporarily occupied territory of Crimea);

a repair unit from the 1435 Motorized Rifle Regiment near the settlement of Anthracite (VOT of Luhansk region);

a pontoon crossing near Nikonorivka;

a storage site for Shahed-type drones in Makeyevka, Donetsk region.

Enemy losses are being specified.

The results of a recent attack on the LUKOIL-Volgogradneftepererabotka refinery in Volgograd Oblast of the Russian Federation have also been confirmed - an oil products pipeline and an oil production unit were damaged.
