Drones Attacked Moscow En Masse

On the night of Sunday, December 28, the aggressor country Russia staged a massive attack on Ukraine, with Kiev and the Kiev region as its main target. Already in the afternoon, the Russian capital was attacked by drones in response, reports OBOZ.UA.
Dozens of UAVs flew at Moscow. The mayor of the Russian capital Sergey Sobyanin said 26 drones were allegedly shot down as they headed toward the city.
He said emergency services specialists were working at the site where the debris fell.
The attack affected the operation of airports in the Russian capital. Rosaviatsia spokesman Artyom Korenyako reported restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft at Moscow's Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo airports, as well as at airports in Yaroslavl, Kaluga and Cheboksary.
A total of more than 270 flights were delayed on arrival and departure at Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo during the restrictions. Sixty-nine planes left for alternate airfields, and 42 flights were canceled.
In the meantime, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the "destruction" of 237 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones from 15:00 to 23:00. Of these, the Russian defense claimed, 32 were allegedly shot down over the Moscow region, while 18 UAVs were flying specifically toward Moscow.
