Russians' fictions have nothing to do with reality.
The Russians are again lying about their "successes" on the battlefield, as in reality they have none. The situation around Myrnohrad, Gulyaypol, Pokrovsk, Konstantinovka and Kupyansk has nothing to do with the Kremlin's public lies.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that.
The General Staff noted that the Russian military and political leadership is hastily inventing "successes" on the front line to influence the negotiation process. The Russians' fictions have nothing to do with reality.
The General Staff briefly explained the situation on the frontline sections mentioned by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin:
Gulyaypol in Zaporizhzhya region: the situation is difficult, but the defensive operation continues. Defense forces are exterminating infantry groups of the occupants in the city.
Mirnograd in Donetsk region: the situation is also difficult, but the occupants cannot realize the capture of the city, despite all their attempts and losses. So now disinformation is in play.
Konstantinovka in Donetsk region: the Russians are lying about "control" of half of the city. In reality, the Defense Forces are exterminating the enemy on the approaches. Recently an assault column of Russians, which tried to break through to Konstantinovka, was defeated.
Kupyansk: the Russians have several times claimed "control" over the city in Kharkiv region. In reality, the remnants of Russian troops are blocked in Kupyansk and are being exterminated.
Pokrovsk: the Russians have been trying to capture the city for 17 months, but have suffered significant losses there. Hysterical statements about its alleged "capture" do not correspond to reality.
"It is obvious that the Russians' lies are primarily aimed at foreign partners and have been significantly intensified precisely during the peace talks. However, Russian disinformation will not affect the Ukrainian position and further diplomatic work," the General Staff emphasized.
The General Staff reminded that the only real result of Putin's statements is the huge losses of his occupation troops. Every day at least 1,000 Russian occupiers are either killed or wounded.
