Analysts revealed the details.
China continues to prepare for a military invasion of Taiwan, taking into account the mistakes made by Russia in its attempt to invade Ukraine. In particular, Beijing is initially betting on a "total war" without illusions of a "three-day SWO."
According to the military analytical portal Defense Express, the Pentagon recently released a report on China's new military doctrine. The document recognizes that Beijing is thoroughly preparing for a future invasion, taking into account the experience of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
So, China apparently proceeds from the assumption that an attempt to seize Taiwan would necessarily lead to a full-scale confrontation with the United States. Therefore, Beijing seeks to realize a scenario in which the war can be kept within the framework of a conventional conflict without the use of nuclear weapons.
The Chinese strategy is based on the ability to launch long-range precision strikes (including out-of-theater strikes) combined with the use of high-tech autonomous weapons systems, naval blockades and isolations, and large-scale economic warfare.
Based on the Russian experience in Ukraine, the Chinese have adjusted their approach to the use of drones In addition, much attention is paid to information warfare both domestically and to external audiences.
In the event of U.S. intervention in the conflict, China is deliberately prepared to resort to "total war" with full mobilization of all strategic resources in order to achieve the surrender of the enemy. Part of this plan is to prepare for the country's rapid transition from peacetime to martial law.
In contrast to Russia, with its excessive goals that are constantly changing, China assumes that its political objectives in a war must be clearly defined and limited to guarantee success.
Beijing also wants to put into practice the concept of network-centric warfare: when there is a single information network through which command, control, and intelligence activities are coordinated in order to maximize information awareness, identify enemy weaknesses, and rapidly concentrate forces on such enemy weaknesses. The main aspect of such a system is the ability to quickly analyze large data sets (Big Data) using artificial intelligence.
In addition, the Chinese military intends to actively use artificial intelligence to model combat scenarios and determine the most advantageous algorithms of action.
