Brest-Moscow" Bus Overturned In Vitebsk Region

One passenger died and six were injured.

On the night of December 26-27, a bus "Brest-Moscow" overturned in Tolochi district, Vitebsk region. One passenger was killed, six were injured, writes "Zerkalo".

According to the Interior Ministry of Belarus, the accident happened around 2.40. According to preliminary data, the bus was moving from the side of Minsk in the direction of Russia. The 43-year-old driver failed to cope with the control, went into a ditch and overturned.

- There were two drivers and 12 passengers in the cabin. As a result of the accident, a 53-year-old woman died, while six people were hospitalized, - reports the Interior Ministry.

Afficers of the traffic police, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Investigative Committee worked at the scene.

- Right now, investigators with the involvement of specialists of the Department of State Control of the Vitsebsk region and traffic police officers are examining the scene of the accident. The causes and circumstances of the accident are being established," the Investigative Committee adds.
