This was reported by well-known far-right Z-blogger Alex Parker Returns, whose pseudonym is believed to be hiding behind the pseudonym of Russian writer Vladimir Lorchenkov living in Canada.

He says that communication with the remnants of the Russian garrison in the town has been virtually lost, and at least several companies of the Russian Armed Forces have been encircled.

Alex Parker Returns characterized the situation as a "catastrophe." He claims that Russian troops have no reserves on this section of the front, and the General Staff, in his opinion, distorts the real state of affairs.

"The famous Gerasimov breakthroughs by several companies for the sake of beautiful reports to the top led to the fact that the Ukrainians were able to accumulate a strike fist, pull up reserves and strike from the western flank of our grouping. As a result, the bulge was cut down to the Oskol River, communications were severed, and the situation was further aggravated by snowfalls and bad weather. All the talk that things are not so clear on the ground is just an attempt to cover up the disaster," the blogger wrote.
