Potatoes went up in price by 0.47% in Belarus in the first 11 months of 2025, according to the data of the National Statistics Committee.

In the regional context, as evidenced by the analysis of the information of the agency, conducted by "Pozirkam", the price dynamics was multidirectional.

While in Mahiliou voblast potatoes fell in price by 22.37%, in Homel voblast - by 9.68%, Grodno voblast - by 1.99%, in Brest voblast the price increased by 2.24%, in Minsk voblast - by 2.79%, in Vitsebsk voblast - by 4.59%, in Minsk - by 15.80%.

The shortage of potatoes this spring became the cause of repeated proceedings at meetings with the participation of Alexander Lukashenko.
