Russians Launched 131 Drones Across Ukraine On Christmas Day

On Christmas night, Russia attacked Ukraine with 131 Shahed, Gerbera and other drones. Ukraine's air defense forces disarmed 106 enemy UAVs. This was reported in the Air Force of the AFU.

According to the Ukrainian military, Russian troops launched drones from the Kursk and Orel regions, from Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), as well as from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Crimea - from the areas of Gvardeyskoye and Chauda. It is specified that 90 out of 131 drones were "Shaheds".

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of this morning, 106 enemy drones were shot down or suppressed in the north, south and east of the country. At the same time, hits were recorded on 22 drones at 15 locations.

The Russian army continues drone attacks. On the night of December 25, an air alert was declared in Kiev and a number of regions amid the threat of guided bombs and massive use of attack UAVs.
