The U.S. Has Struck Another Ship In The Pacific Ocean

It's connected to drug dealers.
The U.S. military's Southern Command said it struck a vessel in the eastern Pacific on Dec. 22 at the direction of Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth.
"Joint Task Force Southern Lance conducted a lethal kinetic strike against a low-profile vessel operated by organizations designated as terrorist organizations in international waters. Intelligence confirmed that the low-profile vessel was traveling along known drug trafficking routes in the eastern Pacific Ocean and was involved in drug trafficking operations," the command's social media page X said.
The command noted that one person was killed in the strike, US military personnel were not injured, "Real Time" reported.
Since September 2025, the US has struck more than 20 ships in the Caribbean Sea that authorities believe were carrying drugs, according to the BBC's Russian Service. The attacks have killed at least 88 people.
