On the morning of Tuesday, December 23, Russia is launching a combined strike on Ukraine using missiles and attack drones. A number of regions have already announced emergency blackouts.

The country's Ministry of Energy reports that Russia is again attacking Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Because of this, emergency power cuts have been introduced in a number of regions.

"As soon as the security situation allows, rescuers and power engineers will start eliminating the consequences of the attack in order to restore power supply in the regions as soon as possible. Emergency shutdowns will be canceled after stabilization of the situation in the energy system," the report said.

In particular, emergency shutdowns have already been applied in Kyiv, Cherkasy and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Social networks report that the attack resulted in the loss of light in Ternopil and Khmelnytskyi.
