On the night of December 23, UAVs attacked strategic facilities in Russia's Stavropol region. According to preliminary information, the target was the Stavrolen chemical plant in Budennovsk, Russian Telegram channels write, noted "Dialog".

According to Telegram channels, explosions in Budennovsk this night rang out shortly after midnight. Locals report several explosions and a fire in the Stavrolen neighborhood. Photos and videos posted on social media confirm this information.

The governor of the Stavropol region, Vladimir Vladimirov, said in his Telegram channel that an air danger was declared in the region at 00:27. He did not report on the consequences of the attack.

The Stavropol region of Russia is home to many military and strategic facilities, which the AFU regularly strikes. In particular, on the night of December 4, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully hit Nevinnomyssky Azot, a facility that produces components for explosives.
