Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has initiated an act of amnesty for prisoners in the republic. The Haqqin edition reports about it in its Telegram channel.

According to journalists' information, according to the initial list, about five thousand people are planned to be released from further serving their sentences. In addition, the act provides for the reduction of prison terms for more than three thousand convicts.
