An unexpected statistic.

Russia increased exports of packaged milk and cream by 23% in January-September this year. Belarus, surprisingly enough, is among the three main buyers of these products, writes "Belarusians and the market".

From the total amount of $40 million (29 thousand tons), in which Russia's dairy exports are estimated, Belarus accounted for $4 million or 10%, according to "Agroexport".

The leaders in the import of Russian dairy products in the period were Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, whose share in the total volume amounted to 54% and 11%, respectively.

Also 7% is the import of little-recognized Abkhazia and 6% - Georgia.

As noted by experts of "Agroexport", the largest share of exports ($18 million) is accounted for dairy products with fat content above 10% mass.
