Olympic champion, two-time Stanley Cup winner Czech Dominik Hasek reacted to the scandalous statement of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who said that in Russia's war against Ukraine "it is not quite clear who attacked whom."

Haszek published a post on X in which he condemned the Hungarian politician's absurd statement and noted that such statements help criminals.

"It's like a politician saying that during World War II it wasn't clear whether the Jews attacked Hitler and his supporters before he attacked them. Or as if Poland attacked Germany and the USSR in 1939. Orban's statements help the criminals achieve their goals!"," Hašek wrote.

Hašek has been an active supporter of Ukraine since the full-scale invasion began.
