The Ukrainian Defense Forces clarified the situation regarding the breakthrough of Russian troops in Sumy Region. Now, fighting is continuing in the settlement of Grabovskoye, the United Forces Grouping said on Sunday, December 21.

"Ukrainian defenders are making efforts to dislodge the occupants on Russian territory," the report said.

The military said that despite the information that appeared in the media space, there are no Russians in the neighboring village of Ryasnoye.

Earlier, the head of the communication department of the United Forces grouping, Viktor Tregubov, said that the crossing of the Ukrainian state border by Russian troops near the village of Grabovskoye and the forced removal of more than 50 civilians to the Russian Federation looked like a local provocation.
