The majority of Czech citizens believe that the newly formed government headed by Andrzej Babiš should continue to support Ukraine - primarily humanitarian support.

This is according to the results of a poll conducted by the NMS agency for the portal Novinky.

In particular, according to the poll, 57% of Czech citizens support humanitarian aid to Kiev and 56% expect the government to provide diplomatic support to Ukraine.

At the same time, a much smaller share of Czech citizens are supporters of not humanitarian but financial (27% of all respondents) and military (29%) aid to Ukraine.

There are, however, significant differences among voters of individual parties.

In particular, Spolu supporters support Ukraine the most. 87% of supporters of this party support humanitarian aid, diplomatic aid - 82%, financial aid - 60% and military aid - 74%.

Voters of the far-right SPD are most opposed to aid to Ukraine, 42% of them believe that Ukraine should not be helped at all.
