A Church Choir Singer Was Sentenced To Two Years In Prison

The court of Maskouski district of Minsk assigned two years in prison to the singer of the men's choir "Vsekhsviatsky" Daniel-Landsei Keit, reports the human rights center "Viasna".

Daniel was convicted on charges of "gross disorderly conduct" (Article 342 of the Criminal Code) for participation in protests in 2020. The trial took place earlier in the year, but the sentence was unknown.

The vocalist's detention was reported in June 2024. In May 2025, he was added to the "extremist list".
