The legislation on microloans is changing in Belarus.

Belarus has signed Decree No. 432, which regulates microfinance activities, reported in Lukashenko's press service. Onlíner listed the main changes.

After the adoption of the decree, microfinance activity will include the provision of money under one microloan contract or more.

Cellular operators have the right to give microloans - it is about consumer microloans in non-cash form, without collateral and in the amount not exceeding 200 basic units per borrower on the day of the contract.

Commercial microfinance organizations that meet the criteria of the National Bank are allowed to give consumer non-cash microloans through online borrowing services without collateral. At the same time, the amount should not exceed 200 basic per borrower on the day of the agreement.

Adolescents aged 14 to 18 years will be able to take microloans with the written consent of one of their legal representatives.
