The U.S. Treasury Department has authorized financial transactions with Belaruskali. On Monday, December 15, the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Treasury Department published a license, which officially allows financial transactions related to Belarusian potash fertilizers. The document is posted on the agency's website.

On Saturday, December 13, U.S. Special Envoy John Cole announced the lifting of sanctions on Belarusian potash. According to a document published by the U.S. Treasury Department, the license allows transactions with the Belarusian Potash Company, Belaruskali, as well as Agrozkvit, a subsidiary of BPC in Ukraine. In addition, the document authorizes transactions with all legal entities where the above companies hold a 50% stake or more.
