The name of one of the leaders of the Belarusian opposition, co-founder of the Belarusian Christian Democracy (BCD) party Pavel Seviarynets, appeared in the lists of those released on December 13.

Ukrainian project "I Want to Live" reported that he was taken out in Ukraine.

We recall that on June 7, 2020 Pavel was arrested and later accused of "preparation of mass riots." On May 25, 2021, he was illegally awarded seven years in a strict regime colony. Seviarynets is serving his sentence in Shklou penal colony No. 17.

In 2022, the administration of colony No. 17, where he was serving his sentence, recognized him as a "persistent violator of the regime". Seviarynets was deprived of visits and communication with his relatives, and pressure was constantly applied to him.

On June 21, 2023, the court in Shklov reviewed his detention regime and transferred him to prison for three years. Since July 10, 2023 Pavel was in prison No. 1 in Minsk.
