India has purchased the first batch of oil from Guyana, two tankers with raw materials have already headed to the country. This was reported by the American agency Bloomberg with reference to the data of portals for tracking ships.
"Ultra-large oil carrier ships Cobalt Nova and Olympic Lion left this South American country in the last days of November, each carrying about 2 million barrels of oil," - said in the material.
According to journalists, the ships will arrive in India in January. Such a long delivery route is connected with the plans of Indian refiners to refuse to buy oil from Russia amid pressure from the United States and sanctions against major Russian suppliers, according to the material.
