Ukrainians will stand up for themselves.

The current week may become decisive for the process of negotiations on establishing peace in Ukraine.

A correspondent of European Pravda from Brussels reports that the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said before the beginning of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting at the level of defense ministers.

The EU's top diplomat said this week could be a crucial week for the process of negotiating peace in Ukraine.

"This could be a crucial week for diplomacy. Yesterday we heard that the talks in America were tough but productive. We don't know the results yet, but today I will be talking (about it) with the Ukrainian defense minister and also with the Ukrainian foreign minister," Callas said.

"I believe that the Ukrainians will stand up for themselves," the EU's top diplomat added.
