In the evening of Saturday, November 8, electricity was lost in 10 settlements of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. There was a fire at one of the energy facilities.

Alexander Khinshtein, the governor of the region, informed Censor.NET.

"According to preliminary data, a fire broke out at one of the energy facilities in the village of Korenevo. There was an emergency blackout - 10 settlements (about 2.5 thousand consumers) were left without electricity. The cause of the accident is being established," the Russian official wrote.

At the same time, Russian blogs say that the fire at the energy facility occurred after a drone attack.
