"Did Not Pass Even 10 Km": Russians Complain About The Breakdowns Of Their Tanks-eges

Technique fails the occupiers.

The Russian Federation, like Ukraine, creates defensive structures to protect tanks from drones. However, the Russian design that makes the tank look like a hedgehog, on the contrary, breaks the equipment.

This was reported by Defence Express.

The publication noted that Russian T-80BVMs and T-72BZMs have recently been spotted with defenses that "make the vehicle look like a hedgehog."

Afterwards, a Russian tanker complained that such heavy protective structures negatively affect the operation of tanks.

In particular, in an interview with a Russian resource, he was asked how bulky structures like "barn-like" or "mossy" tanks affect the undercarriage of the vehicle. In response, the Russian said that if the undercarriage can withstand such loads, the situation with the transmission is different.

"In another company they made a tsar-mangal out of cables, so it did not even travel 10 kilometers before one on-board unit failed. So the load is very heavy on the nodes and they actually fail many times faster," said a tanker of the Russian Army.

At the same time, if you make such structures from the turret, and not from the hull, it will have a negative impact on the operation of the tank turret.
