Thousands of Russians are sitting without light.
A large-scale blackout occurred in the Russian city of Belgorod on the evening of November 8. At least 20,000 Russians are sitting without light, Russians complain about an alleged missile strike.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Russian media.
It is noted that a missile strike was allegedly made on the thermal power plant "Luch" in the city. The attack damaged the gas turbine units at the CHPP and they stopped working. The Luch cogeneration plant supplies power to Belgorod and nearby settlements.
Now part of Belgorod is de-energized. Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of Belgorod region, claims that more than 20,000 Russians are without light. He has also traditionally lied that Russian air defenses have "intercepted" aerial targets and that "debris" is to blame for the situation.
