Rutte Threatened Russia With A "devastating" Response If It Attacks NATO

NATO Secretary General is confident that the Russian Federation cannot win.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte told Antena 3 CNN that if Russia attacks one of the North Atlantic alliance countries, it will face a "devastating response."

He emphasized that he did not believe Russia would attack the military bloc because it "can't win," but warned of the consequences of such actions.

"And if they do attack, they know that our response will be devastating.... if Russia or anyone else attacks Romania, they know that Romania will be supported by all other NATO countries, and there are 31 of them, all of them will defend Romania with the strength of NATO's collective capabilities, with all the navy, aviation, air and land forces," Rutte said.
