Trump: We're Turning The U.S. Into A Bitcoin Superpower

  • 6.11.2025, 8:44

America is becoming the crypto capital of the world.

US President Donald Trump expressed his intention to turn the United States into a bitcoin superpower and the crypto capital of the world.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Trump's speech at the American Business Forum in Miami.

"We are turning the United States into a bitcoin superpower, the crypto capital of the world," Trump said.

He added that if the United States doesn't take up cryptocurrency, China will want to do so.

"We are way ahead of China. But if we don't develop cryptocurrency properly, China will. They're already starting and they want to do more," Trump said.

He said that if the US doesn't take it up, it will lose a huge industry.

These words from Donald Trump came amid bitcoin's subsidence.

According to data from cryptocurrency exchange Binance on Nov. 5, bitcoin temporarily fell to $99,908 before recovering to $101,400. This is the first drop below the psychological mark since June 23, 2025.

The market continues on a downtrend that began after the October 10 collapse, when about $19 billion was withdrawn from the crypto industry.

Bitcoin's fall was reflected in the quotes of companies related to mining. Most ticks fell by several percent despite previously recorded high profits.

Investors are recording losses, and overall interest in the crypto sector is temporarily declining amid high volatility.

Trump's impact on the crypto market

It is worth noting that it was Trump's policies that previously gave cryptocurrencies a new impetus. The US President:

began to openly address the crypto community;

launched his own meme-coin;

announced the creation of a US strategic reserve in bitcoin;

allowed the cryptocurrency to be included in pension plans, after which bitcoin hit an all-time high of $124,000.
