GUR Fighters Took Control Of Islands On The Territory Of The Former Kakhovka Reservoir

Special forces of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine took control of the islands in the "gray zone" on the territory of the former Kakhovka water reservoir.

This was reported by the press service of the GUR on Tuesday, November 4.

The successful reconnaissance and sabotage operation was carried out by the fighters of the "Brotherhood" unit, which is part of the "Special Unit Timur".

In the framework of the operation in the area of Bolshiye Kuchugury site, located seven kilometers from the coastline, the special forces of the GUR detected and eliminated two Russian occupants.

Brotherhood fighters raised the Ukrainian flag on the territory of the islands and took the territory under control, the GUR added.
