Video and official details of the operation have emerged.

SBU Sea Baby maritime drones with reinforced combat units hit two tankers of the Russian "shadow fleet" in the Black Sea.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing sources in the SBU.

The sources said that SBU Sea Baby maritime drones hit two sub-sanctioned oil tankers Kairo and Virat belonging to the Russian "shadow fleet" in the Black Sea. It was a joint operation of the SBU's 13th Main Directorate of Military Counterintelligence with the Ukrainian Navy.

It is noted that modernized Sea Baby maritime drones have successfully worked on the vessels. They can cover long distances and are equipped with reinforced warheads.

The video shows that after the hits, both tankers were critically damaged and actually taken out of service, which will thus cause a significant blow to the transportation of Russian oil.

It is known that at the time of the attack, the sub-sanctioned vessels were going empty, and were headed for loading at the port of Novorossiysk.

"The SBU continues active actions to curtail Russia's financial ability to wage war against Ukraine. Sea Baby drones disabled vessels that could carry almost $70 million worth of oil and helped the Kremlin circumvent international sanctions," said an informed source in the SBU.

It became known earlier that two tankers https://charter97.org/ru/news/2025/11/29/664813/) belonging to Russia's "shadow fleet" exploded in the Black Sea (near the Bosphorus Strait), causing the vessels to catch fire.
