Bloomberg: Ukrainian Delegation Traveled To The U.S. For Talks With Whitkoff

A Ukrainian delegation, including Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov and First Deputy Foreign Minister Serhiy Kislitsa, has traveled to the United States to discuss a peace plan promoted by President Donald Trump. It is noted that the representatives of Ukraine will meet with US special envoy Steve Whitkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner in Florida.

Bloomberg specifies that it is Whitkoff who is to lead the American delegation at the talks in Russia next week.

"According to a recording seen by Bloomberg, a phone conversation between Whitkoff and a senior Kremlin official last month showed that Trump's special envoy suggested they work together on a plan for Ukraine," the publication notes.
