It was launched from the Yasnoye launch base.
Russia has exploded the Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile, which was launched from the Yasnoye launch base, Ukrainian portal Defence Express reported.
The Russians promised to put this missile on combat duty from 2021, but all tests failed. The last Sarmat launch ended with an explosion right in the silo, and now its tests have apparently been moved to the Yasnoye "cosmodrome." This did not help and the rocket using "heptyl", which has toxic and mutagenic effects, exploded after the launch.
We recall that in the Orenburg region of Russia an explosion occurred on the territory of a missile base, after which a cloud of purple smoke appeared in the sky.
Residents of the town of Yasnoye reported that a loud pop was heard before the smoke appeared. According to them, the cause was an accident during the launch of the rocket - it collapsed in the air.
