A Ukrainian general recorded a video from Konstantinovka.

Reports of the Russian military command about the alleged clearing of the center of Konstantinovka in Donetsk Region do not correspond to reality. This part of the city remains under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Brigadier General Alexander Bakulin, commander of the 19th Army Corps, visited Konstantinovka and recorded a video refuting the false statements of the Russian generals.

"Putin's generals reported to their chief that they are already clearing the center of Konstantinovka. Who was in Konstantinovka, understands where I am now. The situation is such that either I myself repelled the attack of superior enemy forces, or the Russian generals blatantly lied to him. No one is clearing the center of Konstantinovka. Yes, it is destroyed, but it is ours," Bakulin said.

According to the Ukrainian command in this direction over the past 24 hours the enemy launched 24 attacks near the settlements of Aleksandro-Shultinoye, Ivanopolye, Kleban-Byka, Yablonovka, Pleshcheevka, Poltavka, as well as towards Konstantinovka, Stepanovka and Sofiyivka. The fighting remains intense.

Russian side's statements

We recall that on November 20, Vladimir Putin arrived at one of the command posts of the "West" grouping, where he heard reports from the Russian military leadership. Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov told the Russian president that troops were "advancing with fighting in Seversk and Konstantinovka."
