Latvia Extends Ban On Night Flights Near The Border With Belarus

Latvian authorities have extended the ban on flights in the evening and night hours in the airspace along the border with Belarus and Russia.

The similar measure was in effect until the end of November 23. As a result, it was extended until the end of the month. But it was introduced by the Latvian side back in September, the terms continue to be adjusted.
"The ban on flights in the border airspace with Russia and Belarus at an altitude of up to 6 km has been extended until the end of the month, November 30, that is, for another week," said the air traffic control service.
At the end of November 30, the ban will be in effect from 17:00 to 05:00 (20:00 to 08:00 - Minsk time).
