Ukrainian defenders maintain their positions in the center of Pokrovsk and have cleared the areas of the railway station, pedagogical school and Soborny Square from the enemy. The Russians are failing to gain a foothold.

This is reported by Telegram of the 7th Corps of Airborne Assault Troops of the AFU.

"Defense forces are holding back the enemy and conducting search and strike actions to eliminate the Russians in Pokrovsk. In the center of the city our positions are preserved, shooting battles continue, and the enemy fails to gain a foothold," the DSHV reported.

Attack groups in cooperation with other units in the 7 Corps DSHV band of responsibility continue to be involved in eliminating the enemy in the city center.

In particular, the 425th Independent Assault Regiment "Skala" recently cleared the enemy presence in the area of the railway station, Pokrovsky Pedagogical College and Soborny Square.

It is noted that this allowed to block the attempts of the Russians to accumulate forces, which unsuccessfully tries to increase pressure on the northern part of the city. At any attempts to move to the northern part of the city through the railroad, the enemy suffers maximum losses.

Total since the beginning of November, the Ukrainian military destroyed 388 occupants in Pokrovsk, another 87 were wounded.
