Trump's Special Envoy Commented On The Release Of Ukrainians From Prisons In Belarus

Washington is working "on bigger targets."

U.S. President Donald Trump's special envoy to Belarus John Cole commented in X the release of 31 Ukrainian citizens from Belarusian prisons.

"After negotiations with Belarus, 31 Ukrainian citizens were released today. I thank the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's GUR, Kirill Budanov, for his close coordination on this deal. We continue to work on larger targets. As the President's Special Envoy for Belarus, I am leading these negotiations along with Chris Smith with the active support of Donald Trump," the statement reads.

On November 9, Trump made a new statement about the release of Belarusian political prisoners.
