Ukrainian soldiers "minus" 13 thousand Russian occupiers.

During the period from August to October this year, Ukrainian defenders carried out counter-offensive actions in Donbass. As a result, Russia's losses amounted to more than 13 thousand military killed and wounded.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the message of the AFU Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky.

The general spoke via video link at a meeting of the European Military Committee chaired by General Shawn Clancy. During his speech, Syrsky spoke about the current situation on the front.

"The operational and strategic situation remains difficult. The enemy continues to strike Ukrainian population centers, energy infrastructure facilities and intensifies offensive actions along the contact line," he said.

According to the AFU commander-in-chief, the aggressor country has launched more than 112,000 Shahed-type kamikaze drones across Ukraine throughout the war. The main targets of the Russians are civilian infrastructure and residential buildings, which resulted in civilian casualties.

From late August to October 2025, the Defense Forces conducted counter-offensive operations in the Dobropolsk direction.

"As a result, the units dissected the enemy's offensive grouping and liberated more than 430 square kilometers north of Pokrovsk. Russian losses amounted to more than 13,000 killed and wounded," Syrsky said.

He also thanked for the implementation of the PURL initiative. The general stressed that it was extremely important for the protection of Ukrainians and critical infrastructure, as well as supporting the Defense Forces at the front.
