Whitkoff Accidentally Posted A Bizarre Message On X

The Russians may have leaked the so-called peace plan to the media?
U.S. Special Representative Steve Whitkoff likely released a private message publicly while erroneously revealing the source of a U.S.-Russian "plan" to end the war, journalist Michael Weiss reported, writing New Voice.
An appropriate message on the X of the article's author Barak Ravid, Trump's envoy suggested that the source of information for Axios' article on the "plan" regarding Ukraine was apparently someone "K." Whitkoff subsequently deleted his message.
"He must have gotten it from K," Whitkoff wrote, apparently not realizing he was writing to X and not private messages.
The journalist speculated that he was referring to Kirill Dmitriev, who is Russia's special envoy.
"It is almost certainly about Kirill Dmitriev, who is quoted in the article. But it seems that the Russian side is leaking this information for a reason. It seems that Dim Philby doesn't know how Twitter works, but is nevertheless confident in his ability to end the war," he said.
Dim Philby is a play on words based on the name of Kim Philby, a British spy and double agent for the Soviet Union.
Whitkoff himself has not commented on the situation.
