Ukrainian Rada Fires Two Ministers

Because of a corruption scandal.
At a meeting on November 19, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine dismissed German Galushchenko from the post of Minister of Justice amid a corruption scandal in the energy sector. This became known from the broadcast of the plenary session of the parliament, writes liga.net.
The decision to dismiss Galushchenko was supported by 323 MPs. Not a single MP voted against it.
Galushchenko held the post of Justice Minister from July 2025. Before that, he worked as energy minister since 2021.
Nardeputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak said that MPs also supported the dismissal of Svetlana Grinchuk from the post of energy minister. The decision was supported by 315 MPs.
On November 12, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky promoted the resignation of Galushchenko and Hrynchuk amid a NABU investigation into a large-scale corruption scheme in the energy sector called Midas.
