Funds to support Polesie were never found.

The development of Pripyat Polesye districts and the implementation of the relevant program were the topics of the meeting with Alexander Lukashenko on November 18.

The ruler complained that he was running out of money:

- Especially when it comes to budget funds. There is no extra money in the country. The measures of the program must be specific, fit into a simple algorithm: we must see the goal, set ourselves certain tasks and act on the result. This is what I warned you about. As they report to me, in general you have optimized them. However, they are still not fully funded. And the financial gap is decent," said Lukashenko.

He pointed out that about Br400 million, or 6% of the total amount of funds allocated for the program (about Br6.5 billion), is missing.
