On the anniversary of the Velvet Revolution.

In Slovakia, tens of thousands of people on Monday, November 17, protested against Prime Minister Robert Fitzo and his pro-Russian stance.

This is reported by "European Pravda".

The protests against Fitzo took place on the anniversary of the 1989 Velvet Revolution, which ended communist rule of Czechoslovakia and led to its peaceful division into two separate countries.

Rallies and marches were held in dozens of locations in Slovakia. Protesters in Freedom Square in the capital Bratislava chanted "We've had enough of Fico," "We want change" and "resign."
