AFU Holds Back Russian Occupiers In 12 Directions

The General Staff of the AFU told about the situation on the front.
As of 16:00 Monday, November 17, there were 81 military clashes on the front. The hottest again was the Pokrovskoye direction.

Over the course of the day, the Russian artillery attacks affected a number of border settlements. In particular, these are Malushino, Staraya Guta, Bobylevka in Sumy region; Khrenovka, Klusy in Chernigov region.
Situation on the fronts
In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, there were seven military clashes with the occupants during the day. In addition, the Russian Federation carried out three airstrikes, dropped eight guided bombs, as well as carried out 61 shelling of AFU positions and settlements.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the Defense Forces repulsed four Russian attacks near Volchansk and towards the settlement of Dvurechanskoye. Now two skirmishes continue.
In the Kupyansk direction Russian invaders tried three times to break through the defense of the Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Peschanoye and Stepnaya Novoselovka. Two clashes are still ongoing.
In the Liman direction, the Russian army launched six attacks on the positions of the AFU units near Novy Mir, Zarechnoye and Drobyshevo. Three clashes are still ongoing.
In the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces repulsed nine enemy attacks. The occupants were active in the areas of Dronovka, Serebryanka, Seversk and Fedorovka.
In the Kramatorsk direction today the Russians twice attacked the positions of Ukrainian soldiers in the area of Stupochek and Orekhovo-Vasilievka.
In the Kostyantynivka direction the enemy made 15 assaults in the areas of Shcherbinovka, Rusinoye Yar, Yablonovka and towards Kostyantynovka and Sofiyivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russian Federation made 18 attempts to dislodge the AFU fighters from their positions in the areas of Mayak, Fedorovka, Rodinskoye, Krasny Liman, Pokrovsk, Kotlino, Udachnoye, Molodetskoe and Dachne.
The defense forces have already repulsed 15 enemy attacks. Now the fighting continues in three locations. The Ukrainian defenders in several areas are conducting strike and search operations, destroying the Russians.
In the Alexandrovsky direction the occupants tried to break through the defense of the Ukrainian military in the areas of Zelenyi Gai, Voronoye, Sosnovka, Berezovoye and Pervomaiskoye. The defense forces repulsed seven enemy assaults.
In the Gulyaipol direction, the AFU repulsed five attacks of the occupants in the area of Sladkoye, Rovnopolye and Zelenyi Hai, another combat clash continues. The Russian aviation struck the settlements of Vozdvizhovka and Belogorie.
In the Orekhivka direction, no combat clashes have been recorded at the moment.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy twice tried to approach the positions of the Ukrainian defenders to no avail.
