Poland's Prime Minister Says Sabotage On Railroad Tracks

In Poland on the railway line Warsaw - Lublin near the village of Mika there was an act of sabotage - an explosive device detonated and destroyed the railroad bed. This was announced by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

"Unfortunately, the worst suspicions have been confirmed. There was an act of sabotage on the Warsaw-Lublin line (Mika settlement). An explosive device detonated and destroyed the railroad bed. Emergency services and the prosecutor's office are working at the scene. Damage was also recorded on the same line, closer to Lublin," Tusk wrote on social network X.

As the website Charter97.org wrote, it all happened on Sunday morning, at 7.39 local time (9.39 Belarusian time). As the Mazowieckie Voivodeship Police reported in X, the train driver reported a malfunction on the railroad near the village of Zychin in the Garwolinski district.

When police and other services arrived on the scene, it turned out that a section of the railroad bed had been damaged. This led to the stoppage of train traffic.
