15 Russians were eliminated.
Ukraine's defenders from the 59th separate assault brigade of unmanned systems have destroyed an enemy assault group in Novopavlovka, Dnipropetrovsk region. Two Russians surrendered as prisoners, the military's press service reported in Facebook.
The report noted that 15 Russian servicemen were eliminated as part of the operation and two more surrendered to the AFU. It is noteworthy that the Russian troops decided to storm the settlement on a converted BMP-1KSH.
The Ukrainian military said that this vehicle has no armament, its turret is immobile. At the same time, it is equipped with a telescopic antenna, radios, navigation devices, chemical and radiation reconnaissance devices and an autonomous gasoline-powered electric generator.
According to the Militarny portal, since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, Russia has lost only 14 such vehicles: nine were destroyed, and another five were captured by Ukrainian forces.
It is not the first time that the Russian occupiers have used such vehicles during assaults on Ukrainian positions. In particular, the enemy recently lost two PRP-4 reconnaissance vehicles near Pokrovskoye.
