"Sukhoi Superjet" had to be emergency landed.

A Rossiya airliner with 90 passengers and five crew members on board made an emergency landing in the Russian city of Khabarovsk on the morning of Nov. 15, local time, the "Svodka25 l News of Primorye and Vladivostok" Telegram channel reported. One of the subscribers told reporters that the airplane, which was flying Vladivostok-Blagoveshchensk, had a part of its skin torn off during the flight. Judging by the video, the engine on the starboard side was stripped of metal parts. According to vladivostok1.ru, the plane in question is a domestic SSJ100 ("Sukhoi Superjet") airliner.

The Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office reported a "technical malfunction" on the plane, which caused it to crash land in Khabarovsk at 9:00. "The landing took place in a normal mode. Primorsky transport prosecutor's office will assess the technical services of Vladivostok airport in preparing the vessel for departure," the supervisory agency said. According to Svodka25, the passengers of the flight were waiting for a reserve flight from Vladivostok. Some of them, however, said they were not going to board the faulty plane again and would get to Blagoveshchensk on their own.

After the incident, the Investigative Committee launched an investigation into violations of air transport safety rules (Article 263 of the Russian Criminal Code). As reported in the telegram channel of the Eastern Interregional Investigation Department of Transport, law enforcers will assess all "circumstances and causes of the incident, and a procedural decision will be made based on the results." It is reported that no one was injured during the incident.
