There are problems with debt payments.
Minsk is counting on the Kremlin's financial assistance to pay its debts next year, the website "Belarusians and the Market" writes.
This was stated by Belarusian Finance Minister Yuri Seliverstov at an extended meeting of the commission of the so-called House of Representatives.
According to him, the amount of state debt to be repaid next year is Br17.7 billion.
"The repayment will require additional resources, which we plan to attract from the financial assistance of the Russian Federation in accordance with previously reached agreements," the minister also said.
Seliverstov added that the authorities will also work on refinancing part of the state debt. The Finance Ministry will continue to borrow money on the domestic market through bonds. It is planned to place them for about 560 million rubles.
An additional 6 billion rubles will be needed to service the debt. It will be done at the expense of budget revenues.
Reminder, the bill on the republican budget for the next year was submitted to the House of Representatives on October 31.
The expenditures are planned in the amount of more than 58.7 billion rubles, revenues - about 54.4 billion rubles. That is, a deficit of about 4.3 billion rubles is planned. For comparison: this year they planned almost 4.5 billion rubles.
