Ukrainian intelligence has learned the details.

Russia has started to punish military officers who failed to fulfill plans to recruit new recruits to the occupation army. They have started sending them directly to the front.

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine reports this in Telegram.

According to the GSD, in the Far Eastern regions of Russia, where the recruitment campaign systematically fails, the command of the Kremlin's army has introduced punishment for unsatisfactory performance in replenishing the occupation troops.

"Those responsible for recruiting servicemen - mostly sergeants and officers - are transferred to assault units if they fail to fulfill the recruiting plans set by Moscow," the intelligence service said.

In particular, in the republic of Sakha (Yakutia), seven heads of recruiting stations have already been sent to the front. They have been assigned to motorized rifle regiments of the 5th, 35th and 29th armies.

According to intelligence, the average shortage in the region's selection points is about 40% of the norms set by Moscow.

The recruiters who are sent to the front line are those whose areas of responsibility either lack the necessary number of male population or are unable to recruit in a timely manner.

GUR emphasizes that such actions demonstrate the Kremlin leadership's complete lack of awareness of the situation in remote regions and demonstrate a critical shortage of manpower to replenish losses at the front.
